Ryuzanji Company – Japan presents the performance of “Kera Sakti” A Journey to the West

This story is adapted from the Chinese tale story about “A Journey to the West”. A story tells about the Buddha with his three guidance who are looking for holy book. In their journey, they found so many obstacles. One of Buddha guidance is very potent who has name as “Kera Sakti”. The story of Kera Sakti is very famous in Asia region.

In this March (2016), Ryuzanji Company will have a tour in Indonesia to present the performance of “Kera Sakti” in new story and contemporary style. This performance is directed by Tengai Amano; one of great director in Japan.

Ryuzanji Company is one of Theatre Company that very well-known in Japan and other countries. It has achieved some of national and international award. Ryuzanji Company also very often having the international tour in Asia, Europe, and USA.

During its tour in Indonesia, the performance will be held in 4 cities: Jakarta – Teater Salihara Pasar Minggu, on 11 & 12 March 2016, Yogyakarta – Concert Hall Taman Budaya Yogyakarta, on 16 March 2016, and Magelang – Courtyard of Borobudur Temple, on 19 March 2016, then for the last performance will be held in Bali- Griya Olah Kreativitas Seni (Geoks), on 23 March 2016.
